چکیده
Canola cultivation at high latitudes is becoming more promising in terms of modern climate change. Sustainable crop production requires an understanding yield-limiting factors, which need to be adjusted agricultural management first. Therefore, our study was aimed examining the effect and soil fertility factors on canola yield from 2012 2015 northwestern Russia. Simultaneously, effectiveness chemical fertilizer (N65P50K50 N100P75K75) rates tested. Studied soils had light texture, acidity severe sulfur deficiency. (Y) varied 0.81 1.60 t·ha−1 for observed period. Applied increased Y by around 30%, but this change not significant. Climate testing with FAO-AquaCrop simulation showed no noticeable water heat stresses period (0% 20% reduction potential Y). Among tested properties, content organic carbon, available nitrogen significantly correlated (r = 0.58–0.66). Combining these together pH a path model explained 60% variability Y. Importantly, highest most significant model. Thus, parameter main factor area, must first practice.

Genomic Prediction of Testcross Performance in Canola (Brassica napus)
Genomic selection (GS) is a modern breeding approach where genome-wide single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) marker profiles are simultaneously used to estimate performance of untested genotypes. In this study, the potential of genomic selection methods to predict testcross performance for hybrid canola breeding was applied for various agronomic traits based on genome-wide marker profiles. A tot...
متن کاملEthylene Production during Development of Mustard (Brassica juncea) and Canola (Brassica napus) Seed.
An open, continuous flow system was used to investigate ethylene production during degreening of maturing seed of mustard (Brassica juncea cv Cutlass and cv Lethbridge 22A) and canola (Brassica napus cv Westar and cv Alto). Isolated mustard seed evolved higher amounts of ethylene than those of canola, and this was particularly evident both early in embryogeny and later during the desiccation ph...
متن کاملSampling plan and test protocol for the semiquantitative detection of genetically modified canola (Brassica napus) seed in bulk canola seed.
Using a statistical approach, sampling plans for the semiquantitative detection of genetically modified (GM) canola within a bulk seed sample can be developed and tailored to meet different GM thresholds, costs, and confidence limits. This is achieved by changing the number of subsamples analyzed, the number of seeds per subsample, and the percentage of positive results allowed. These sampling ...
متن کاملInfluence of lead on growth and nutrient accumulation in canola (Brassica napus L.) cultivars.
Canola (Brassica napus L.) is commonly used as a hyper-accumulator for phytoextraction of heavy metals from soil and water. Like many other heavy metals, lead (Pb) contaminates soil, water and air and thus it is a great problem. This study was conducted to investigate toxic effects of Pb on growth and nutrient uptake in four canola cultivars. Each of four cultivars of canola (Con-II, Con-III, L...
متن کاملGlyphosate drift promotes changes in fitness and transgene gene flow in canola (Brassica napus) and hybrids.
BACKGROUND AND AIMS With the advent of transgenic crops, genetically modified, herbicide-resistant Brassica napus has become a model system for examining the risks and potential ecological consequences of escape of transgenes from cultivation into wild compatible species. Escaped transgenic feral B. napus and hybrids with compatible weedy species have been identified outside of agriculture and ...
